a love letter

did you know that this kid dropped out of high school at fifteen because it wasn't challenging him, and instead moved to paris with his brother?  he learned french and listened to french chansons and learned every instrument he could.

and now here he is: writing every part of every song--sometimes up to 15 instruments--and touring the world and making albums inspired by Eastern European gypsy music and 1907 photos of the hot air balloon festival in Paris.

i can't get enough.
