photo competition SLASH plea for help

dear people who want to have a voice in this world we live in,

i'm entering a photo competition for "compelling" photos that capture the cultural essence of an experience abroad.  
i aim to win.
all.
the. 
prizes.
i can only submit three photos.
i've whittled the 3700 down to six (pathetic, i know.  trigger happy i am.)
SO.
if you were a judge for a photo competition, which three would you say are the strongest?
(and i need feedback by noon so comment-up!)

now for an incentive:
if i happen to win thanks to your judicial comments, i will bring you a helium balloon with a smiley face drawn in permanent marker on it.

    These are all reeeally good. But I like the first three best. The landscapey ones are beautiful, but I bet there will be lots like them entered in the contest.

    1, 2, and 6 :) definitely 6. the ones with people will be more unique although the landscapes are beautiful and capture scotland very well.

    2 and 6 are my favorite. I think pic #6 is perfect for capturing the cultural essence of London during/following the royal wedding. I deleted my previous post and reposted it so you know who this is.

    I think you stacked the deck a little with this one :) But I still choose 1, 2, and 6. With 3 as a really really close fourth.

    I wish I had seen this before noon! They are all beautiful and compelling. If you could have submitted a video, it should have been of the coconut man :). I love that you have so much passion and creativity. Which ones did you end up submitting?
